Prof S. N. Chaturvedi had held 111 trinity of academic positions viz Prof. & Head Department of Commerce; Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Director MBA Programme at D.D.U. Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur before joining the present assignment as Dean Administration at ITM.

He has contributed research papers in reputed journals and guided many scholars for Ph.D. Degree. He submitted a memorandum to the Eleventh Finance Commission, Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India for rationalizing the devolution of funds from the Central Kitty to the States. He has also been the member of the Zonal Advisory Board (Kanpur Zone) of the Life Insurance Corporation of India for years starting from 2000-2001.
